Why no quadrupels 6-packs?

    I buy mostly Imperial IPAs, and I prefer them mostly in 4-packs, better to have a nice variety of choices in the fridge and avoid out-of-date beer. Double Dog, Double D, and a few others have 6-packs, and that's OK, but I really prefer the 4-packs.

    It is pretty difficult to find ANY beers over 9% or so these days in a six pack. There are tons of quads in four packs- Mostly from Belgian breweries, but you can readily find Boulevard Sixth Glass, Ovila Quad, and in CO., Elevation's Apis.

    Unfortunately the days are gone when awesome beers came in sixers.

    I'm fine with 4-packs of 12 oz. bottles. My problem is that with bombers and 750mL I tend to hang onto them until I have guests over. In the meantime they taunt me from the fridge every time I reach for something else.

    Based on all of the posts there are a lot of quads that come in 4-packs, just not in the stores in my immediate vicinity. Apparently I need to start visiting actual bottle shops. Thank you for the replies, everyone.
