Why no Trillium/Tree House collaborations?

When both breweries are likely selling out every drop of liquid they produce on a very short turn around time, why bother?

And to that point, the freak out would be something of epic proportions. If it's a small batch or one-4 pack per person, the lines would start the night before. People would be camping out. It'd be absolute insanity. At a case per person released at Tree House, you'd be looking at an hour and a half wait + some similar to the Gggreen release recently.

My feeling is once Tree House brews on the level they feel the most comfortable with, even if it's not at 100%, you may see a collaboration. A complete guess on my end though.

I honestly can't think of any collaborations off the top of my head that ever blew my mind.

Maybe they figure it's not worth it.

I truly do not have any more room for another 'better' NE IPA. I don't even think I can use a 5 point system anymore. It's more like a three point system: Poor, Good, Great. A great collab might just make my head explode.

I would think that Tree House really just doesn't have the time for collaborations at the moment. Given that it seems like most of the brewing is done by Nate and they are still trying to get their brewery really humming when would he have time to collaborate? I seem to recall that at some point they want to make Monson their more experimental small batch "lab". So I'd think once Charlton is running fully solid and Nate is comfortable with other brewers kind of running the show there he'll move down to Monson and start having fun. Maybe we'll see collaborations at that point but even so a Trillium collaboration seems less likely than brewing with someone who is further away. Tired Hands, Other Half, Bissell, etc.. Maybe they'd do one for fun or for a charity but otherwise it would probably be a disaster of a release at this point. Way too much demand.

Vagabond , Tree House and toppling Goliath collaboration, is my highest rated beer. Wish they would do that one again
