    Here is the situation. I complete a deal a month ago with someone on here. My box arrives first on January 26 and everything is good. He is late getting his box out and it arrives a few days later than intended, no big deal. His box arrives on February 1 and everything arrives fine except for one minor detail, but again, no big deal. I message him to let him know everything turned out ok and I was going to leave him feedback, which I did, and it was positive, since everything ended up good. Well, the last message he read was on January 30, so he hasn't seen that message. He disappears for a couple of weeks (I check to see when he is last on) and then reappears one day. I message him 2 or 3 times over the course of the next 2 weeks (including starting a new conversation) to see what's going on and if everything is ok, but he hasn't read any of these messages and therefore hasn't responded. And I know for sure he has been on multiple times during that time. As of yet I have not received feedback, he hasn't read or responded to messages since January 30, and for the life of me, I can't understand why. Anyone have any idea why this would be the case?

    Probably just lazy, I always leave feedback right away. I had one guy take 2 weeks. I never questioned it, just waited and he finally left feedback. Some people I guess don't see the importance. As long as it wasn't your first trade I would say don't look too much into it.

    Could be a number of reasons, but sometimes people just forget or don't prioritize the leaving feedback portion very high after the beers have been exchanged.

    It's happened a few times to me, but usually after a few days if it hasn't happened Ill send a friendly reminder. Which has always gotten it resolved.

    In your case, you could ask a mod to do a 'gentle nudge'. There was a thread about this before, and that's how a lot of delayed feedback issues were resolved. Leaving feedback for the trades is an important step in the process. I wouldn't just neglect it even though all the beer has been exchanged.

    @ColomboLQ

    Please message me the traders name and I'll *nudge* them to get this done :wink:

    Thanks,

    I have an open trade from the end of December, I left feedback, they did not. The option to send my partner a message is not available. Is there a way to close this? Will it eventually go away?

    Yes, they can set up their profile page to allow or not allow "certain" members to contact them by making it *members only* or *people they follow*. This is done in the *contact details* of your user profile.

    It gets purged (goes away).

    If there is a situation where a trader doesn't leave feedback, anyone can reach out to me with a message and I will try to resolve the issue.

    Cheers!
