so i have to come up to Wichita monthly for business and dig the brew scene. Goebel's is the shit for a good bottle shop. I typically stay in Old Town next to River City Brewing and partake in several of thier beers in the brewpub. The Anchor bar always has a solid taplist, they are tapping an Odell Friek cask tongiht that i will go try. Im not even sure if this is "southwest" but im from Houston, so suck my balls.
Robs has a pretty nice selection of beer! a year ago, you could buy different vintages of BCS off the shelf!
I, too, live in Houston and visit Wichita often, both for work and to visit family. I generally get to Goebel once or twice a trip. If you get out west I suggest checking out Wichita Brewing Co for a couple of beers and a pizza.
