Wichita this weekend

I'd look up Central Standard Brewery which is downtownish and Public which is walking distance. For bottle shops, I'd hit Goebels which is Maple and West area.

Central Standard, Hopping Gnome, Wichita Brewing all have good beer from their breweries. Wichita Brewing also has outstanding pizza. For an outstanding selection of draughts go to the Anchor. They also have good food. For a bottle shop, Rob's was just named to one of the top 50 in the country! I would be in bankruptcy if I went there every week. Not from the prices, but the volume of new beers.

 

Also downtown in Wichita is River City Brewery, which has great food and in my opinion has way better beer than Hopping Gnome and Central Standard.

 

If the Anchor actually has the beer there, then that would be a good stop. Last two times I've been there, several beers on their ever changing tap list was out.

 

Unrelated to beer, but you'll be doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't get to B&C BBQ.

 

I know this is too late for the OP, but it could benefit others.

Since Jet BBQ has closed, B&C has the best in town. They are buffet only, open Mon-Sat 11 am - 2 pm.
Other great places include Bite Me, Pig In Pig Out, Hog Wild. For some reason, none of the leading BBQ joints serve beer. If they did I would have to squeeze through the door.
