Lol. This is true. But knowing how long these beers take to make etc I know its limited in comparison to the angels. I figure they did the silent release for the locals first before all the out of town folks come in this weekend. Me included

The silent release part was the most surprising this about the whole thing lol

Tropicmost Gose is now in 4pk 12oz bottles too. Seems they're phasing a lot of the 500mL stuff out for this packaging, which is much better cost wise.

I'm curious how long morte will last. 20 bucks a bottle plus tax ain't cheap...

At a case limit I suspect there's a bit or they figure at the price point people are like whoa. One or two please.

Price aside I'm interested. Got a feeling I'll strike out or won't feel like standing in line for seasoned skillet and drink it on tap later in the day.

I just left the funkatorium and they seemed to have a decent amount on the shelves, but they wouldn't tell me how much there was either because they didn't know or they weren't allowed to

Also would like to say that Cerise Morte is delicious. Not overtly sour like red angel. Jammy nose, mildly tart, awesome cherry flavor. Still missing the funk, but I'm sure it'll be like all other WW bottles and show itself a little more over time. Not quite Meemaw level, but one of the best beers I've had from them.

Early reviews look promising. I am glad as I have a case of it lol. I bit hard because their other brews in the morte series have been vastly better than their other stuff. Framboos Morte is the best thing out of there and IMO easily the best sour brew in the south east. Cool that they started their bottles of the morte series with a new one.

Only 2 were canned, and they were special releases. Appalachain Mountain Brewing and Pisgah Brewing do cans

You can go by Appalachian Vintners or Tasty Beverage and pick up can's of Burial Brewing's offerings as well. If they have some in stock.
