You guys know of a location, preferably in the Charlotte area that still has this bottle for sale? Some how I completely slipped up and missed getting a bottle. It's the only bottle I'm missing from the WW collection. I would be willing to purchase or trade if anyone can point me in the right direction.

    Cheers!

Bestway in Greensboro had some Monday. I just had Lusus Naturae on Sunday and was very impressed. Freak of Nature done with brett, but mild now and delicious. Counter points of a fresh IPA and the evolution of the yeast! Very interesting beer.

Lusus is awesome. Appalachia is good too.

That collab they did w/ NB, Tributary, sucked tho.

I would not spend too much time hunting down Appalachia, It was just okay.

I strongly disagree. I think it is significantly better than most of their bottled beers. One of their best saisons.

"Strongly disagree"? I did not say it was terrible I just said I would not spend time to hunt it down. Would I pick it up on the shelf if I saw it? Maybe......I drank it with 2 others and we all had the same thoughts.

All personal preference, but I had about 30 WW beers in the past few weeks. Appalachia was very strong, and ranked in their top 3 IMO. The Amarous and Oblivion were also great, but Appalachia was really good. I would agree that Tribuatary was average at best.

Most WW beers are better after some time in the bottle, the brett saisons particular. So it makes perfect sense to "collect" them IMO.
