Saw this on Monk's event page today: The debut of Wicked Weed Brewery in Philly- meet Walt Monday, May 02, 2016 tbd Cash Bar This is the best beer to come out of the South - Period! I met Walt while I was attending a Sandor Katz fermentation school in Asheville, NC. His sour beer program is exceptional and his brother's IPA program produces award winning ales. You seriously don't want to miss this event. I'm wondering if this is just an event for the CBC week, or if this means they will be distributing in Philly come May. Anyone hear anything about this?
thought there was talks about this awhile back but never saw anything come to fruition.. guess maybe things are back on track... who knows
I think that I erroneously started that rumor after seeing the Monk's post. After further investigation, I am pretty sure that this is just for CBC and not regular distribution.
A friend of mine asked the Wicked Weed guys at EBF when they would be coming to Philly and the guy flat out said that they had no plans to. When my friend questioned him about reading it online, they said they "never made any official announcement."
