Wicked Weed/Creature Comforts Collaboration

Brier Creek total wine should get it today. I'm sure that means more folks in the triangle will get it.

 

I know in the Charlotte market at least, you will see it in shops and bars/restaurants starting Friday. They ask us to hold all new releases until Friday's. I'm not sure if the other markets are the same but I would guess WW is doing this in most markets now.

 

Made it it Ridgewood today. Limited, $4.99 a bottle.

 

Ridgewood also just tapped a keg of Juiceless.

 

Showed up at the usual spots in Raleigh today. The two places I went to got 2 and 3 cases each. So very limited. Tasty was limiting purchases to 1 bottle, so it might last for a short while but not long.

I manage the Athens Ga Beer Lovers FB group, so beer info comes my way. I've heard it from multiple sources around town who pour beer.

 

All of these places are pouring it as of the 2nd.

What collabs are you referring to?

 

I know there's the Jester King Collab (Red Atrial) and I heard about a collab with Rare Barrel, not sure what the third might be though

 

Well I got it on tap at Beer Study, it was a great IPA. I wouldnt have been upset paying five dollars a bottle for it.

 

I enjoyed a bottle last night, and thought it was great. Very juicy, lite bitter. Reminiscent of Sip of Sunshine. Hope they make this one again!

 

Anyone have an idea of when this is planning on hitting the Charlotte area?

Just moved here yesterday so I figured I would check out Salud and Heist after work.

 

Both great stops! Heist has a great DIPA on right now (Bee Fruitfull) and the guys at Salud are great and they always have a solid draft lineup

 

Thought Juiceless was good and agree with whomever said it tastes kinda like a cross between Pernicious and Freak. IMO it's better than Freak, but not Pernicious.
