Yeah, I agree. All of the new pumpkins were pretty good and I don't like pumpkin beers. I ended up having 3 Pumpkin sours.

 

Interesting. I guess I missed that it's at the Funkatorium, I didn't think it'd be open by then. Agreed that actually does change things quite a bit since its away from the main bar. And agreed that it was quite spacious at the Funk Fest. Some of my friends are definitely going, some definitely aren't, and some are on the fence. I think all of the fence-sitters (including me) are trying to psych each other up to go

 

Besides, some of the best things are positively horrible ideas

 

I saw on Facebook that there is supposed to be additional details announced on Wednesday.

 

I thought the pumpkin sour was a good beer, but it didn't really taste like pumpkin at all. The best of the 4 was the Jack o'Hammered by far IMO. They were all solid though.

Best beer I had this weekend has got to be the Rasberry Stout at Burial...whoa!

Per the NC Beer Guys page:

"Dark Arts Wild Imperial Stout will be available in 16 ounce bottles online for pre-sale on October 13th. Purchasing a pre-sale ticket will purchase six bottles (maximum) and entry into a barrel aged tap takeover hosted on October 31st at Wicked Weed Brewing’s new Funkatorium located at 147 Coxe Ave. Individuals who purchase pre-sale tickets will receive first entry into the tap takeover at 6pm. The doors will open at 9pm to the general public, capacity allowing. Bottles will not be for sale that evening, however, Dark Arts will be on draught. The regular bottle sales will occur the following day, Saturday, November 1st at noon at the Funkatorium."
