I will give anything Wicked Weed a chance. Wasn't blown away by everything they have made, Tributary comes to mind, however they have been solid on most of their offerings.

When is Trickery supposed to be releasing this year?

What is the pickup date for Dark Arts?

"Pick up days are Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th during Funkatorium hours of operation."

I am curious if they are going to allow for bottle pick ups during the Friday event like last year, or make us wait til Saturday. That will probably be a big factor if I go to the Friday event or not.

Same day as Burial burn pile fest once again. Which means I'll be in town one again.

10/31 is what I have been told by a couple birdies.

This will be my first ever bottle release. I'll be going Sunday. I reckon since you buy tickets it will not be crazy. But I am incredibly excited.

Was it just brett last year or was it also soured? I remember not being interested because I thought it was a sour, but maybe I misread.

Just took a look. The label on last years calls it a 'Bourbon-Barrel Aged Wild Imperial Stout'. Didn't get a lot of sour on it when it was released... but now that its a year old?

Ah, that's probably why. I typically associate "wild" beers with sours. I'm a huge fan of brett but don't care much for sour stuff. I just assumed Dark Arts was a sour stout, so I passed. Now I'm interested but not sure if I'm interested enough to spend the money or drive to Asheville for it.

Looks like no Friday pick-ups? Kind of sucks, now I'll have to decide to go to the party or pick up bottles, but not both. :slight_frown:

Looks like it. Maybe there weren't too many, or not a lot of people were excited about dropping $260 for 12 beers.

That was quick. Less than 9 minutes from start to close. Now I really hope I can get bottles if I go to the Friday party! Wooooo
