    First, thank you so much for your purchase of Dark Arts 2015!
    We we're truly overwhelmed and grateful for the success of the online sale. So much so, in fact, that we dug deep into our reserve and decided to double the amount of Dark Espresso included in the 6 and 12 pack as a means of thanking you all for your support of what we craft. That means if you purchased a 12 pack you will now receive 4 Dark Arts Espresso (instead of 2) and 2 Dark Arts Espresso (instead of 1).
    Yeah, we love you too.

    Second, the Barrel-Aged Tap Takeover is this Friday, October 23rd at the Funkatorium at 6pm. This year we are opening the event to the public so the only guaranteed entry (due to capacity) is showing up on time when doors open at 6pm. Costumes are heavily encouraged (peer pressure).

    Third, pick up days are only Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th from 12pm until close both days. Please be ready with an valid ID that matches the name on your ticket (print or mobile) in order to claim your prize.

    Forth and finally, see below for an encore of the rules and regulations for pick up. For any questions not answered in the below please email [email protected]. Thank you again for all the craft love; we couldn't do any of this without you and we can't wait to raise our glasses with you this weekend.

    The Rules:
    -All ticket buyers must be 21 years or older.
    -One purchase per person.
    -The individual who purchased the ticket must be present with a valid ID and print out or mobile confirmation of their ticket.
    -Only individuals with a valid ID and a ticket in their name can pick-up their allotment.
    -If an individual's name appears on more than one ticket, one of those tickets and bottle sales will be null and void. This rule exists to ensure that no one individual has a monopoly or unfair advantage regarding the number of bottles allotted per person.

    The Bottle Pick Up:
    -There will be 2 sessions for bottle pick up.
    1) Saturday, October 24th @ 12pm - close
    2) Sunday, October 25th @ 12pm - close

    *Regardless of when you choose to retrieve your bottles you must have a valid ID that matches the name on your ticket.

    -NO PROXIES. If any individual other than the ticket purchaser attempts to pick up the pre-purchased bottles, those bottles will be forfeited back to Wicked Weed.

    -NO SHIPPING. We cannot under any circumstance ship bottles. By purchasing a ticket you acknowledge that you are obligated to pick up your bottles in person.

    -NO BOTTLE HOLDING. Wicked Weed cannot, under any circumstances, hold pre-sale bottles if purchaser is not able to attend either pick-up session. A refund will be issued to you if you are unable to pick up.

    -REFUNDS. If you are unable to pick up your bottles and inform us prior to the event Wicked Weed will issue you a full refund via Brown Paper Tickets. If you request a refund after the pickup dates Wicked Weed will issue you a refund for the bottles only (we cannot refund Brown Paper Ticket Fees). We will issue refunds within a two week period of the pick-up date only.

    The wording of the email sounds like we are getting an additional 1 or 2 Espresso Dark Arts. They will probably have them in that 3 bottle holder of theirs.

    Can't wait, a couple days out! Thought the Email implied an extra as well. Time will tell. Doesn't matter to me either way, but sure would be nice with an extra.

    I may not have to share a bottle of Espresso if thats the case. But at 15% I might should...who knows.

    Just got confrimation from Wicked Weed. Unfortunately they are just changing the bottle allocations to 8 regular and 4 coffee if you ordered 12 bottles, and 4 regular and 2 coffee if you ordered 6 bottles. :slight_frown:

    At least there is more coffee!

    Any hints as to what might be on tap Friday yet? What were some of the highlights last year? I should have been there last year, but got suckered into the Monstro mess at NoDa Saturday morning

    Are they not calling it a tap takeover? I would assume, of course I assumed they were adding an additional bottle to each case, that it would all be on tap. It is also suppose to be a costume party as well, if I read the memo wrong (lol, yea I know I know).

    The BA tap takeover is supposed to include Dark Arts, Dark Arts Espresso, and other BA kegs from some of their favorite breweries.

    They should with the amount of money we all have spent with them over the last few years. But then again I wouldn't expect them to. Nothing comes for free....Gotta Pay To Play!

    I am just hoping there will be leftovers Saturday morning. I don't want to make two separate trips to Asheville. Silly to not allow pick-ups on Friday, worked just fine last year.
