I got some Garcon de Ferme, so I'll be all over that soon. Only one Cerise Morte. (I definitely need to get back in to the trade game soon, but not sure I'll be able to do it quickly enough to grab another Cerise Morte.) That might get got the 11th or 18th of June. As for the remaining 7 or 8 sours we have, hopefully most will be within a month's time period.

That said, maybe I can ask another questions. If you had to compare Myrtille and Brettaberry, which do YOU prefer? I had a Brettaberry, but when giving the order back to my friend, the buyer kept Brettaberry for himself and gave us 2 Myrtille back. He transported a TON of stuff back and as I am so grateful, I wasn't going to raise a stink over it. That said, I AM curious about what I'm missing, especially in comparison to what I got in place of it.

Yea should have bought a case like me! lol. But in all reality, I have heard it tastes even better from the bottle. Which is saying something; draft was damn good. Age it a little to get a bit more funk. And then hit me up when you want some more. I am keeping/aging/drinking at least half my case. The rest are up FT.

Sounds awesome! (And will do.) Much appreciated offer!

(I've got a few beers with age on them that may be worthy of a trade.)

Should have included it above, but this was our group haul. Looking at the great deed by our co-worker, there was no way I could complain about the Brettaberry. (That said, I look forward to someday trying it.)

    Decent haul.

Would have cut down on th freak for more sours.

Brettaberry is tasty I thought. Myrtille is good but wasn't blown away.

Pernicious is great though. Dark age is really good too. Got a decent assortment there. Enjoy!

Costwise you certainly came out ahead assuming you were 'charged' by your friend for Brettaberry and got Myrtille. Brettaberry is $9-$11 and Myrtille is $16-$18 (except at one random store that has it mis-priced for $12.50... and continues ever after having been asked about it). The consensus would seem to say that Myrtille is better based on ratings. Plus I've never heard a lot of people say how crazy they are for Brettaberry. Personally, I'm not a fan at all of blueberry in beer, so I'll take Brettaberry over Myrtille, but I'd take a lot of other Wicked Weed beers over either.

Oblivion and Recurrant are two of my favorite beers from Wicked Weed of the easier to find beers. Too bad that don't have Bourbon Barrel Oblivion anymore so you could do a side-by-side with Wine Barrel Oblivion (the normal Oblivion), but normal Oblivion is pretty great.

BB Oblivion is still sitting on a shelf near me...$20 a pop. I really liked it, but a sour beer it is not...to me it was a bourbon/fruit bomb.

Fight your FOMO dude. It's THE scourge of the craft beer world.

Not a FOMO. I'll definitely have it some day. Just curious since now I have 2 Myrtille as opposed to a Myrtille and Brettaberry, did I stumble in to an actual benefit or should I good-naturedly rib my co-worker. (Sounds like maybe I should thank him.)

I'd definitely be interested in trying it after reading that description. Who am I kidding, I would have been interested in trying it BEFORE I read that.

Considering I've NEVER had Wicked Weed before, I'm thinking the haul was pretty damn great! As for the Freak, of the 14 bottles purchased, only 2 were mine (and 1 of those was for a gift). And of the sours, only 1 was not mine or one that would be shared between us/those of us who drink sours. That was MY main goal for (from) Wicked Weed, but I'm also not missing out on trying things I've never had before either.

Much appreciated. If we don't get our acts in gear and head down before year's end, I may just do that.

Yeah, sorry, I meant sitting on the shelf at WW. I've definitely seen it around the state still. I prefer the original so the 3 or so I picked up a while ago are probably going to do it for me.
