Im from NW Indiana and have had a few lambics and ive only had one that i thought was really amazing (forgot the name) but all i seem to see are the Lindemans ones. Id like to know what else i can find fairly easy in Indiana and in Illinois if need be. Thanks for your time.
Oud Beersel: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/828 The Geueze excellent; but the Sour Kriek blew my freaking mind Hanssens: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/636 the Gueuze is unbelievably amazing Girardin 1882 black label(I can still get it at least) Still haven't broken this open though, should get on that. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2541/6317
these are sour red browns but, Liefman's Boudenband and their sweeter Cuvee Brut are available in most places Rodenbach is good too
There's a bunch of Hanssens on the shelf right now in Chicago and the surrounding area. In my opinion both Hanssens Oude Gueze and Girardin 1882 Black Label Gueze compare favorably with any other "elite" Belgian guezes including Cantillon and 3F. EDIT: Not to mention they are much easier to obtain.
