Anyone seen this around? I've got a friend in the area who's looking for a decent gluten-free beer, and I just wanna know where to send her.

Any other recommendations for good GF beers available in Boston, and where to get them, would be most appreciated.

There's Celia, an Alchemist recipe now owned and brewed by Mercury/Ipswich. No firsthand experience though.

Celia is good. Although I haven't had it since they switch the ownership, but heard from gluten intolerant drinkers it was still good. Omissions are good beer; IPA was surprisingly good hoppy beer. New Planet Brown just won a bronze at GABF, but haven't tried it. Glutenberg is available, they won all three first places at last year Beer World Cup. I tried their Red, which was 1st then, it was good. Brunehaut is good, too; I thought Blonde was the better one.

Pretty sure you could find Ommission at Cambridge Wine and Spirits in fresh pond.

I think its kind of weird that I see Ommission on my local shelves more than Widmer brands.

Blanchards Allston has, from my memory, at least two kinds of Omission, plus a good sized Gluten free section.
