    Yeah if i were Widmer i would be opening new places in good locations ..Bend, Alberta..etc..with new beers etc
    I think the bean counters are in charge sadly

    But, if the pub is losing money, then closing it would make the overall company more attractive, no?

    Yeah to corporate types...but to me it makes no sense..even if they after going for the Timbers types..surely even they would want to visit the home of thir favorite Hefe?

    I meant to say closing the pub would be INconsequential if getting a better buyout was the name of the game rather than maintaining market presence.
