Wiens Brewing announced the other day on Instagram that they would be closing on the first of May.

Shame to see them go. Best of luck to the Wiens family and their employees.

Wiens Cellars, the wine section of the Wiens brand, will still remain.

Did they mention a sale anywhere (the social media post I saw on Instagram was not very forthcoming with information and honestly a bit easy to miss) or did you get that information elsewhere?

Temecula, CA. Founded in 2012. Family owned and operated, where they did wine and beer.

Some stats; awards and such are harder to find now that their website is so barebones:
    • Probably most known for their Apricot Wheat and Get Roasted (coffee stout); this is based largely on how well those particular items sold at my store, awards, etc..
    • Won gold at GABF 2016 in Belgian-style Fruit Beer for their Apricot Wheat.
    • Won gold at 2018 San Diego International Beer Competition for Deadpan Pilsner.

From a friend involved with the sale.

Wonder who is buying the spot. They started off good, but just never managed to take that second step.
