I can remember trying to ease my wife in to craft beer from Mich Ultra and the likes by ordering her Oberon, which she hated. More of the same here though she started loving Founder's Porter and Eddy Fitz and it's been off from there. Still hates Oberon but she'd never turn down a KBS when I'm cracking them:slight_smile:

Sweet! Yeah I've heard sours are the gateway beer. My wife likes all styles but is on the fence with ipas. She likes notorious though. Her favorite is BA stuff though. I can't argue.....

My lady prefers fruit beers (Rubaeus is her favorite) and Monk's Cafe. Yes, another belgian sour.

Pretty much the same situation with my ladyfriend, except she doesn't like imperial stouts, just regular stouts and porters. Also, not hop sensitive per se, just doesn't like them. She loves sours now, which is a bit of a double-edged sword given their price and scarcity. In the Bay you're never too far from an awesome sour from either RR or Almanac and she really really enjoyed Rare Barrel when I took her.

Nice Beast avi, BTW. Still my favorite all-time coaster.
