We're headed to Rome in a few week, just the wife and I. Pretty excited to leave the kids behind. We're going to be busy touring as this is our first time. We're staying near Piazza San Pietro and I am looking for something special to do for my wife. She's not a beer drinker, but we enjoy a good meal and perhaps I can arrange for them to do something special for her. Or maybe even just a small cake for back at the apartment?? Open to ideas as I am not even sure what's possible in Rome. Thanks! To keep it beer oriented, she knows we are going to the Abbey for Tre Fontane!

I had a pick a place last week for dinner as I didn't want to be too late. I ended up picking Goose, which had good reviews on several sites. And they are going to do a little something special for her! I will check out Bir & Fud as we'll be needing to eat every night!
