Whoa. We've been talking about getting back to Portland soon for a weekend away, this would be the perfect excuse to drive up to Maine. Entered the drawing for tickets, fingers crossed!

I wish it wasn't so steep, but let's be honest...... I'd go in a heartbeat if I was picked.

I like the way they're doing this. Very excited to hear what they might be pouring in addition to the friendship blend. I'll pay $100 for these three breweries and a good fundraising cause.

I'm actually thrilled that they're not selling bottles.

1500 bottles were made. I wonder what they are doing with them.

Could they be pouring them at this event?

According to the details they've released each of the 700 people will only get a 4oz pour of Wild Friendship [and 9 other beers] Those pours only account for, let's round up, to 225 bottles. They're pretty adamant there won't be any take-home sales so that's a bunch leftover for future events! Really excited to hear what else will be pouring!

This doesn't seem like a bad deal for the money, even if $100 isn't exactly chump change. These beers realistically go for >= $1/oz at a bar anyway, so there's $40. Souvenir glass, call it 10. Plus some food ($10-20?) and it's a fundraiser? I don't have the $$$ right now, but if I did, I would definitely try to get tickets. Plus, an excuse to go to Portland!

price is very fair if you value getting to try these beers which you otherwise wouldn't be able to do.

consider what the bottles could be sold for and this is far from a money grab.

I 100% agree. all this great beer and food seems reasonable to me.

I entered...this would be awesome to win tickets too...

i would drop everything to go to this if i was chosen for tickets.

seems there hasnt been a lot of talk about this beer. this is a freaking huge deal and a lot of people dont even realize its happening.

crazy that no bottles are being sold. I wonder if any will leak out. Could this be like the rarest beer ever to trade? haha

It is a nice change that a beer that should really be amazing, isn't getting much attention. I don't think that will last very long...

    damn weddings...

I told myself I would drop everything, call out of work, sell my blood, and make it to the release of Friendship blend no matter what. But then. I have to go to BIL's wedding. UGH. Good luck to all, and enjoy. This sounds like an amazing event.

The website says to expect it on or around the 25th. They left themselves some wiggle room.

Tickets have to be purchased by the 31st, so I think they'll send it before the weekend IMO
