Has anyone done this? About a week ago I threw some apple skins into a sugar water mixture and covered it with cheese cloth. Yesterday I made up a small yeast starter with some DME and regular table sugar. When i looked this morning there was a nice layer of something at the bottom, and alot of tiny little bubbles at the top. I'm excited to go home and see what i find.
