The title basically says it. I've been drinking a metric crap ton of Here Gose Nothing this summer, but I'm about to leave desthils distribution area. If I were to load up on a bunch of it before I left would it still be good in 3-4 months?

    Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, and as one who loves Gose to the point where I was getting Ritterguts shipped from Germany before this old style was revitalized the past few years, 3-4 months will not hurt a Gose whatsoever - in my opinion and based on my experiences.

I'd expect they'll be ok in 3-4 months, especially given that their Gose is on the extreme side. That said, since everyone seems to be making a Gose or Berliner these days, I'd just get a few 4 packs and then explore what's available wherever you end up.

I just found a couple of last year's Westbrook behind some dark stuff in the cellar. Little sediment but still tasty.

Awesome, that's exactly what I was hoping to here.

I had a WB Gose from last year (9/14 or so) along side a can from March of this year. The old one held up just fine

Had a year old Westbrook Gose last week and you could tell it had fallen off but it was drinking just fine.

Last year one of my buddies pulled out a Westbrook Gose from 2013- when they were in 22 oz bottles... aged so well. Definitely lost some of the tartness and mellowed out, but I'd definitely age one again. Something just doesn't feel right to me about aging a can though, and I have a hard time keeping those in the house longer than a week.

I think I've accidentally aged a gose about a year now. Will report on the taste later.

I would think that almost all styles outside of IPA's, pale ales, and the lighter (AAL, pils, etc) could stand up to about a year without terrible side effects. Would be interested to see if any one has done a side by side (preferably blind) of gose with fresh, 2 months old, 4 months old, and 6 months old. I would think the differences would be very subtle.
