You can stroll through Premier but they are starting to get wiped out in a hurry...20% percent off draws everyone out of the woodwork.

There really isn't much that you can get in NY that you can't get in PA...curious to see what kind of suggestions get thrown around here.

Wow, way to contribute with that insightful input, that was a real uneducated thing to say. I cover almost half of PA and see a lot of beers that you guys dont get. Not to mention you can buy a single bottle or a full case in the same store (what a crazy idea). We may not get Lancaster, Ottos, or VooDoo in bottles but Im pretty sure Bieregod can do some damage if he makes some stops.

I lived near Buffalo for almost 25 years, and moved to PA a year and a half ago. When I go home to visit, I always try to find beer to bring back from NY to PA that isn't available where I live now - and have a hard time finding beers that fit the bill.

Sorry if it's somehow offensive to be curious about the brews that fit the bill. The fact that you didn't list a single beer in your initial reply either seems to reaffirm the difficulty of the task at hand. Which is, again, why I am genuinely eager to see what I'm overlooking. Perhaps you could provide some insightful input for this uneducated dolt.

You should try to find better shops to go to then. It has been about 9 months since I have been in your neck of the woods but I do not remember ever seeing Three Heads, Horseheads, Clown Shoes, Lake Placid, Grand Teton...off the top of my head. Maybe ALL of these beers are distributed there now but doubtful. Given the fact that I have listed beers that are PA beers distributed in PA and not NY...and vice versa with NY beers not distributed in PA, pretty much proves my point. Consider yourself educated.

Also, I go into bottle shops all the time and even look at the brewers who do distribute in my area on the chance that they may have something there that is gone off your shelves, hidden gems, or even some Foreign beer that you have never seen before. Please forgive me for not listing those but that must reaffirm the difficulty of the task at hand.

Highly recommend trying Village Beer Merchant on Elmwood in the city & ask for Vinnie. Place is way cool & he is friendly & knows what he is talking about.
