Will be in Lincoln... what should I try?

    Hi all,

    Will be in Lincoln over the weekend. What beers are currently on sale that I should absolutely try (that I can't get in Iowa)? I'll be on the South side (near Pine Lake & 40th). I know Hy-Vee is in the area, but any other stops I should try? Any growler fills?

    Anything from Odell or Funkwerks is good (although Funkwerks will be in IA soon). I also recommend SKA Modus Hoperandi.

    Nebraska doesn't allow growler fills except at breweries/brewpubs in their own growlers unfortunately :-(

    Excellent, thanks! Is Hy-Vee the best bet? We always drive by a place called The Still, but I've never stopped.

    the 40th/old cheney hy-vee is very good and as of a couple of days ago still had odell brazzle 750s.

    like bretthead said, there isn't much here that you can't already get in IA. renegade & coop ale works cans hit shelves this week, i don't know if i'd call anything i've had from either as a must try, but i've liked a few from both.

    edit: moran's on 33rd/A is a great stop for beer too and easily the best if you want to do a mixed six selection.

    The Still is pretty decent, worth stopping in if you're passing right by it anyway.

    Thanks again everybody. HyVee was my only stop (aside from the Father Donkey draw I had at the Watering Hole). Brazzle was an empty slot, so just missed out on that one. I put myself on a tight budget for this (I have to... my monthly beer spend is ridiculous), but I ended up with a couple Renegade brews (Consilium and Evolution), Empyrean Mango IPA (I dig Grapefruit Sculpin, so I've become really open to random IPA tweaks), and then threw a hail mary on Nebraska Brewing IPA.
