Will Beck's will ever be imported from Germany again?

I don’t think they’ll be importing it anytime soon. They’ve been brewing it in the US since 2012.

 

If you like a good, light German lager, check into Spaten, Paulaner, or Hacker Pschorr Munich Helles style lagers.

Even Weihenstephaner and Hofbräu.

I know from other MN members that many of the German imports are available -- at least around the Twin Cities.

I see you just tried Tucher, not a bad choice either.

 

Check your local Aldi for Bacher Lager.

 

Isn't that more of their Heineken knock-off?

Never had it myself, but their Wernesgrüner Pilsner is great.

 

If your looking for a budget German helles benediktiner is pretty solid but if your budget allows Augustiner helles is available in the us now.

 

I think their Heineken knock-off is called Holland 1839.
