Well, we're up for Round 2. Last year, the bill to allow Mississippi breweries to sell beer on-site was blown out of the water before it even started. This year, we're making some headway. Brewers from all over the state are putting on coats and ties and hanging out at the Capitol to politic and reason with voters to say yes to House Bill 1322 and Senate Bill 2613. Mississippi is the only state in the country not allowed to sell beer at breweries. If you're from Mississippi, contact your representative and ask them to bring us into the Twenty-first century. Cheers.

I saw the SoPro crew posting about this on Instagram so I sent emails to my representatives to support this issue. I wonder why it was so quickly shot down last year? I mean, what would it hurt? Hopefully, seeing the brewers in person and hearing their side of the story will help it pass.

Good Luck!!! I live in Tennessee & have to deal with other outdated alcohol laws. They are slowly getting better but Southern states definitely have some catching up in regards to outdated & stupid alcohol laws. Hopefully this law passes in Mississippi.

It passed the House Feb. 1. The vote was 93-23 :grinning:. Now on to the Senate.
