Most stores here in DFW are only receiving 1 case, so consider yourself lucky! I got 1 bottle yesterday. Hope I can get another somewhere!

I have only seen it at Spec's so far. The only stores that will probably get this, are stores that also sell liquor or have the special license for port wine that allows them to sell up to 24%. Since most beer licenses stop at 17% and this is 17.4%, most beer and wine stores cannot sell it.

Spec's Downtown literally just received their allocation within the last 30 minutes! Not sure how much but I only saw one case on the cart. Also received Stone 10th Anniversary Ruination!

Just picked up some UJ and Ruin 10th from Specs Downtown. Thanks for the heads up, but my wallet definitely doesn't like you right now.

Were they still limiting Ruination to 1 bottle per person?

This thread highlights one thing for me, Specs Fort Worth needs to happen soon. They get first dibs it seems. And colleyville is amazing but at 20+ miles it's kind of a hassle (although it's become a weekly routine).

Got R10 today, no UJS this week in Tarrant it seems.

Maybe someone from Spec's can chime in, but a 500% increase in bottle limit over the span of 2 hours seems a bit ridiculous to me. Of course I'm just annoyed that my friends and I were laughed at when we asked if we could get more than one bottle of a widely-distributed Stone beer (and the fact that a second trip is in store if I want mas), oh well.

Hey now Ballast Point, not always!

I am strictly going by the sign I saw. I may have mistaken the sign for a different beer, but it said 6 btl/person. I had to ask someone for the bottle. I didn't actually buy 6.

No bottle limit. Just talked to wsnich and they're down to 7 or 8 bottles on the shelf.
Apparently still a healthy supply of R10 too

Went back and confirmed they had a sign up for R10 saying there is a 6 bottle limit. They aren't on shelves and you need to ask an employee. This is for the Midtown Specs location in Houston.

Wish you guys knew the things they do to strong-arm mom and pop businesses as well. I guess im glad they get the beer that they do, but still, they pull stuff like this all the time

-saving for certain peeps after telling others they are out of something, taddling on other liquor/beer stores to the TABC about their business
-getting stuff in and keeping it in the back while telling people they wont get it/didnt get it
-jacking up prices on certain beers because they are the only ones in town that got it in (ex Stone Green Tea - should have been about $4-5, they wanted $8-9 iirc), etc etc

sorry for the Specs thread derail

Im no defender of specs, but I paid $5 for green tea at multiple locations. I don't know how they are doing anything shady with the R10 release, given they have a sign up. I've gotten pretty much every limited release for the past year at specs, and always gotten a good deal.

Love child #2 is also on shelves.
