Willettized Coffee Stout 6 packs

It made a brief appearance here in Will County, IL. Sold out by 3pm at three of my local spots, was still able to score two sixers. One of those spots was binny’s in Bolingbrook.

 

I would check your local Jewel. They are selling for $11.99.

 

Just checked Binnys Grand and LP and all out. Grand was expecting more tomorrow. Got some Big Hugs

 

Every year this shit gets harder to get. At this point it's lost its allure. It used to be a great buy hidden gem, now it's still a great buy but requires sneaking out of work to hunt down, really a shame.

 

Binnys Lake Zurich, as well as a some smaller stores like Oak Trail Spirits

 

It's legit 1/3 the price of other similar top tier BA stouts, what'd you expect? Four cans of Cafe Deth for $30 or 6 bottles of Willettized for $12. Not a difficult decision.

 

Do they have this for sale at the Lagunitas brewery store?

 

Does anyone know when the bottle shop inside Lagunitas is supposed to have it, or did I already miss that?

 

A bunch of feedback from people in IL, anyone from IN seen it yet?

 

So far it's not in t he Goshen/South Bend area.....my GF lives there and we've been checking

 

Anyone seen this at suburb jewels? like downers grove, etc?

 

Alcohol is way more present in this than last years high west. Possibly even more than last years willett high west kegs.

 

I'd be surprised if they get much of it -- I stopped in at a grocery store after my local liquor store sold it as limit 1 bottle. The liquor department guy happily sold me the only case they got straight off the dock, basically to limit the hassle of finding shelf space and printing out a shelf tag for 4 six packs that would sell to the first neckbeard that passed by. (They don't sell single 12-ounce bottles except in their create-a-six-pack-of-old-beers section.)

 

Yeah I am only seeing it sold as single bottles. Doesn't seem worth it to drive 30 minutes from work during lunch to pick up a single.

 

Hypothetically, it could have been 4 people that passed by? Ah, who am I kidding!?! It would have been one neckbeard that passed by before the 4 people, correct.

Currently at binnys grand. 11.99. One sixer per. About 5 cases on the floor.

 

Willett's own distalate is outstanding though.

 

Anyone have any info on the coffee used in willettized (or high westified)? I assume it might vary depending on whether it was brewed in IL vs CA.
