Taking the family on vacation this summer and looking for a good bottle shop or two that isn't too far off the beaten path as time is a premium. Based on Seekabrew, the top non-Michigan distributed breweries would likely be:
    Atlantic Brewing
    Ballast Point
    Clown Shoes
    Duck-Rabbit
    Firestone Walker
    Sixpoint
    Terrapin
    Troegs
Any suggestions would be much appreciated (for either readily available beer or shops)

In Williamsburg there is the Wine Seller. They have Double Jack from Firestone Walker for sure. They also had Six Point Resin. Some Troegs and some Terrapin. Honestly you can give them a call - Michael and everyone there is friendly.

I'd also reccommend some stuff from Williamsburg Alewerks - check out the brewery if you have time. They have a Springhouse Ale and a brand new Scottish IPA - Caledonia.

If your coming through Richmond, which I think you might be taking 95 from Alexandria to get onto 64 to head to Williamsburg, there are a couple options not too far out of the way. First would be Once Upon A Vine, which has a great selection and do have Sculpin if your looking for that, also they are not more then 2 miles (probably less) off of 64-95 . They also carry a good amount of Terrapin and Troegs, as well as many other brews. While your here, and if your traveling through on Thursday-Saturday, also check out Hardywoood Park Craft Brewery for a quick minute. Bottles and growlers/fills for sale, plus the brewers are really good guys. Enjoy your vacation!

In Alexandria, hit up Rick's Wine and Gourmet and Whole Foods. Rick's has a better selection but you can get growler fills at Whole Foods, good mix of local and national brands on tap.
