Hey guys, just arrived in NYC and I'm so excited!!....so now I just want to check some beer places(pub, restaurant with good tap list, bottle shops...) near here. I'm staying right around the bridge, and I already know about Torst, Beer Boutique, and Brooklyn Brewery. Thanks in advance!

Spuyten Duyvil and Barcade are within 5 - 10 minute walk from each other. Fette Sau for great bbq right across the street from Spuyten. Enjoy.

If you want to travel across the river, my favorite beer bars are Blind Tiger and One Mile House.

You should also check out Other Half (Brooklyn) and Singlecut (Queens), although those are probably already on your list.

    Have fun in NYC!

Go up to Greenpoint and check out Brouwerij Lane. That place is great. Plenty of beer on tap plus a bottle shop, so you can purchase to go or for in store consumption. They have a back garden open for the warm weather months too. Down the street is Paulie Gee's for some of Brooklyn's best za.

Beer Street is a super underrated spot in Wburg. Always such a killer taplist.

Mugs Alehouse has a great tap list, low key vibe, and will be on your way to Brooklyn Brewery/Torst.

Was going to suggest Beer Street as well, love that place.

Some of my favorite WBurg spots:
Greenpoint Beer & Ales: Beer garden/brewery on the south end of Greenpoint; great food and even better brews.
Sugarburg: One of the best tap lists in the area, 9 times out of 10 there's a Hill Farmstead beer on tap.
The Well: A bit off the beaten path but the taplist is stellar and the bartenders are too. The also have a huge back yard so this is a great place for groups.
Barcade: I was here basically once a week in the 4 years I lived in WBurg. Great bartenders, huge selection of beers (though nothing as rare or hard to get as what Sugarburg/The Well/Beer Street will have), and video games!

Not to overwhelm you with options (all great) but if youre in the mood for food too, check out Keg and Lantern

If you're in the Bushwick / E Williamsburg area, The Well is a huge space with tons of taps/bottles/cans (everything from local highlights to HF and other 'big names'). They also have shows at the (attached) sister venue The Wick!
