Greetings Ill be traveling to Williamsburg and staying with the family at kingsmill. I'm from NJ and wont be venturing far so was wondering is there good beer on premises or is it all AB? Thanks in advance.
Not sure about the restaurants/bars inside the compound, but I guess they should at least have GI. Right outside the Rt. 199 gate there's a Harris Teeter that has an ok selection. If you can venture out a few miles farther check out DoG Street Pub, they have good food and always good stuff on tap. The Wine Seller on Monticello Ave. is your best bet for bottles and they also have a growler station with good stuff on tap. Enjoy!
I second the Wine Seller. I work in Williamsburg, in fact, near Kingsmill, and the Wine Seller is a short drive with a great selection. Always an impressive draft list for growlers too.
