    Hi all,
The family and I just moved to Wilmington, DE from TX. My wife is from the area so have been visiting here pretty regularly for the past several years. That said, I’ve never found a solid bottle shop, so wanted to see what recommendations folks have. Biggest priority is freshness. We’re in the Triangle neighborhood but I’m happy to drive a bit for the right place.
    Cheers!

Parent of a college kid in UD's Newark Campus, which is a 30 min drive from you. The Delaware Growler has a lot of taps and does growlers/crowlers. They get good selections too, check them on untappd. Stateline is right around the corner with a huge selection, could make a solid beer run there.
Closer to home, the beers I've had from Wilmington Brew Works are pretty good. Might want to try the untappd nearby feature for more local places. Cheers.

Swigg looks like a pretty good shop. More wine focused but looks like a small but good selection of craft

When you have the chance to drive 20-30 minutes to stock up, State Line Liquors in Elkton MD has a top notch selection of local, national, and import beers. Six packs, or they also price by the single. If you sign up for their email list you get a discount every time.

Sorry for the late response. My advice - check out Krestons in Wilmington. They'll get a steady supply of good breweries from a relatively new distributor. Their craft beer selection is great. You'll find a steady supply of fresh Equilibrium, Cushwa, Dewey, Burley, etc.

There's a small beer store on 202 immediately over the state line in PA that you can get your Toppling Goliath, Singlecut, Foreign Objects, Prairie, and Occasionally Heady and SoS.

I also recommend following State Line on instagram. They get what appears to be monthly deliveries of Other Half. It's worth the 30 minute drive every now and then.

And about once a month I'll drive the 50 minutes into Ardmore to make a pickup at Tired Hands. IMO - it's the best locally available. Other Half and EQ included.

    Welcome to DE.

Krestons is a good choice. Good selection and growlers too.
