Stopped in today and had the double IPA, awesome beer. Well done. Nice not to have to go down to Charleston or out to Asheville to have a decent beer.

In Wilmington, on Kerr Avenue. Has a lot of space both inside and out. Was really impressed with the double IPA. I would say that it rivaled Freak Freak of Nature.

I didn't know they existed and I live right around Wilmington. I'll have to check them out.

not to go off topic, but google just shot back that there is a brewery in planning in Wilmington called Cape Fear Brewing. Anyone know anything?

There are a few that are starting to pop up around the area. There is one due to open in a couple months in Southport as well called Check Six Brewing.

The couple running WBC are some of the best people you'll meet so definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area and as notes, they make some killer beers. The space also has a large homebrew store if that's your thing. I don't know about Cape Fear Brewing but a couple new breweries will be opening downtown this year; Flytrap brewing and Ironclad brewing. Flytrap Brewing is going to be a really cool nano-brewery and their stout is one of the best I've had. The couple opening up Flytrap are also amazing people. It's been a long time coming but Wilmington is poised to have a great craft beer scene. Here is a good write up on the breweries if interested http://www.devourilm.com/2014/05/06/wilmingtons-most-wanted/

Ps- good vibes is now called Ironclad
