Ill be in Wilmington later this afternoon, so I'm curious what I should check out as far as bottle shops. I'd be looking for anything I can't get in PA or any hidden gems that might sell out super fast by me (since everything does) like Devil Dancer or something. Or Stone Ruination 10th Anny. Thanks.
Lighthouse wine & beer at Wrightsville Beach Cape Fear wine & beer downtown I doubt either of those will have DD or R10 at this point though. NC seems to get small amounts of most special releases. Good luck!
Just at Lighthouse Beer and Wine yesterday and picked up BA Old Ruffian, Frangelic Mountain Brown, and Sang Noir! They still had bottles of all when I left!
Cape Fear wine and beer has most, if not all of the NC locals. If you dont get anything from Highland Brewery in PA then thats a good place to start.
I was just at Lighthouse, picked up their last Frangelic Mountain Brown. Also got each one of the Stone Smoked Porter varieties (Chipotle and Vanilla), and some All Day IPA since I can't get it in PA. Also some Torpedo cans for the beach tomorrow. Good haul, glad I stopped in.
BA Old Ruffian sold out yesterday... Day late for me. Still had several each of Sang Noir & The Vine tho'.
Good info, heading down to Wilmington for my brother's wedding this weekend. Besides Cape Fear and Front St, what else is good spot to hit up on a Friday night. Staying at the Marriott on the river.
not really beer centric but if you are with your lady, The Little Dipper is owned by a friend of mine and excellent fondue place..ask for Bekah and tell her Wolfe said hello! They also own YoSake which is a Asian fusion place..both are on Front Street downtown..Enjoy, Downtown Wilmington is good stuff!
