Anyone else going? Also is there a tap list anywhere? Ive been on the website, the breweries are listed and it looks pretty good. Any info would be great. Thanks!

I'll be there. Missed out on stout fest tix and a buddy wanted to go to this, so I'm in. Also want to know what'll be there.

Couple of buddies and I are heading to this one. Wasn't really sold on the price with no list of brews posted yet, but at the least I figure we could start an all-nude Harlem Shake...because that's what the internet needs right now.

I'm going. I added it to the events page today.

Don't know what they will be serving though, but it seems like a pretty good lineup of brewers.

Gotta dig up my Art of Beer Festival T-Shirt, and my old school BA Baseball hat with the raised pint glass.

Got some tickets as a gift, so i'll be there. My expectations are at the level of going to a bar with an amazing taplist. Hopefully there will be at least one BA beer there.

If my boogie nights prosthetic gets delivered in time, I'm in.

I'm looking forward to this. With the breweries they have listed, the beer should be awesome.

here's hoping it doesn't turn out like the union station event last year. or am i confusing it with the beer under the glass event?
apparently, one or both of them, based on feedback had basic craft beer. more of a beginners thing. and unfortunately, for the geeks here, doesn't compete to pizza beer.

awesome, i was iffy about going at 45, but 35 seems like an even better deal. hopefully I can convince my dad to go now.

you're thinking of chicago beer festival, held in union station. remember the impromptu dance party and slippery floors? oy vey.

beer under glass, on the other hand, is a terrific event. brewhaha should be fun -- bridgeport art center is a nice location. pipeworks and 18th street will also be present.

I notice those were taken from Half Acre's and GI's facebook pages, I doubt they are authoritative regarding what they will serve this weekend.

Anyone know if you can bring bottles in? I'm sure there will be plenty of beer, but I was meeting some people up there and was going to share. Just curious.

30+ brewers on hand... that isn't enough for you?

To give a constructive response: There were no bottles allowed into the building where I was there for FoBAB a few months ago, so I'd imagine the same policy applies. I guess you could get cheeky and plastic cup 'em in someones vehicle...

No, I was probably taking the train and was going to share a few things I've come across either before or after. Screw it though, I'll drink my $45 worth...maybe more

I like to support beer events that are ran by people in the beer community. Great Taste, FOBAB, Goose Island Fests, GABF, homebrew events, etc.

What we have here is a radio focused media group (Merlin Media) looking to make a few bucks off of the current craft beer movement. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm sure there will be some decent beers there, but all who attend should consider the source of events like these.

Same here. Wish I would have done a bit more (read:any) research before I jumped in, but the email from Chris Parker seemed promising. Didn't notice the radio involvement until after my ticket purchase...blegh.
