If Peter Crowley and the rest of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild "partnered", than I might give it a try . Unless anyone knows about any other event this weekend.....

You'll notice the very prominent involvement of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.

But you think they are going to "make a few bucks" off of this. I've heard that nonsense before, where have I heard that before????? Hmm, couple of guys Todd and Jason Angstrom or something? I wonder if those guys are still putting together world class beer festivals (because sarcasm doesn't work on the internet, THEY ARE, but if they listened to the bs, the answer might have been different).

    Haters gonna hate.

I appease my guilt of supporting a media group by donating my extra money to sick kids**

lulz, I told you you that sarcasm didn't work on the internet. (I thought the "or something" was a dead give away).

Thought the sarcasm was tied to the "world class beer festivals" and that the "Angstrom" part was due to memory loss/lack of internet search. My bad!

lolz. They have been putting together great festivals for almost ten years now (see my earlier reference to the Art of Beer Festival, which I am thinking was their first in 2003? I do have the t-shirt that I will look for). The real problem is the " .. " over their last name.

BA's would not have been impressed.

Thank god for Haymarket pouring Indignant and a couple nice IPA's.
    Three Floyds had zombie dust.
There was a nice dubbel from GI clybourn
Surprise of the day goes to Brickstone cherry ale, really enjoyed it.

Haymarket blew everyone away. Other than a few gems here and there, it would have been a nice bar lineup. It was a good time and you didn't have to really wait in any lines. Their was a vanilla cream beer that I can't remember who it was from. It was great. One of the shows best. I drank my fill on Indignant from Haymarket though
