Winston-Salem for the weekend

    Going down to winston-salem for the weekend, I wish it was for the Foothills release unfortunately it is not. Going to hit up city beverage and get my hands on some Sweetwater and Great Divide, just looking for some other brews I should try to snag that I can't get here in Richmond, Va. Cheers

    Definitely get some olde hickory. They are making great brews right now. Get your hands on the bean (even though I haven't tried it yet....just got it today) and redeemer. Redeemer is fantastic. Perhaps grab a growler from Pisgah if you're up for it.

    Be careful with The Bean. Its a great beer if you approach it as a vanilla, coffee, chocolate porter. If you think of it as a stout, its god awful. Light body, think flavors. Its an amazing light porter, hell itd be a damn near world class flavored/spiced brown ale. The ABV isnt listed, which means its below 5.5%.
