A coworker and I are planning on going to this for the first time. I just wanted to get peoples' thoughts on past events. Sounds like a good time. Obviously there isn't going to be a bunch of rare beers or anything, but the brewery lineup looks solid. Anybody know if they post an exact beer lineup before the event rather than just the breweries?
I went last year and it was fun, but a very packed event. The line was very, very long when I showed up, but did move quickly. I always had a beer in hand, but wasn't able to go to any table I wanted unless I wanted to be beerless for a period of time.
I stopped going to the winter version because it was very crowded. The outdoor tent is only about 1/3 the size of the outdoor area they use for the summer version but they sell the same amount of tickets. Also they put a live band in the tent which made it pretty hard to converse with friends. This was before they went to the 2 day format though so I have no idea if it's gotten better or not. Either way, you'll have fun. It's beer!
