I don't really have a favorite per se, but I normally don't consume barleywines in any form, pumpkin beers in any form, imperial stouts/porters in aged form, or Samichlaus/Samichlaus Helles in any form outside the months of September through March of the following year. The reason I occasionally have fresh impy stouts during the warmer months (apart from the beers being delicious) as opposed to fresh barleywines isn't because I prefer stouts to barleywines; it's mostly a function of the fact that most barleywines aren't very good fresh, whereas with stouts it's closer to 50-50. I generally prefer aged barleywines to either. Also, as a general rule there are more impy stouts on shelves in warmer months than barleywines for some reason or another, even though they both are common winter releases.

I would like to see more doppelbocks and barrel-aged doppelbocks in the colder months.

Since cold weather is hit or miss here, I just voted for which beer is usually in season when we finally get that first cold front (which usually only stays for a few days before going back into the 90's). Oktoberfest!!!!!

I enjoy pumpkin stouts, BA RIS, and winter warmers in the colder months

Imperial stouts are #1, but oatmeal stouts, quads, and doppelbocks are close behind. I want to really like pumpkin ales and oktoberfests but I'm disappointed in them more often than not.

I voted Stouts, but I also love a good scotch ale, dopplebock or a Belgian dark ale/Quad when the temps start to drop.

i agree, i think aging really helps take that boozy edge off Barleywines.

i wanted to include that and coffee/oatmeal stouts in parenthesis next to stouts but it was too late after i posted. I voted Stouts with the inclusion of coffee/ oatmeal stouts being a big factor in that, otherwise i'd probably go with Imperial stouts or DIPA's.

Winter warmers (Shipyard's Preulde, Geary's Hampshire Special) are probably my favorite that are exclusive to the season, but winter is a great time for warm, dark, dessert-y beer (Russian Imperial stouts, Irish dry stout, English cream stouts, coffee porters, Scotch ales).

I voted for RIS, but I wish they still made Pete's Wicked Winter in its original formulation.

I like to go to Doppelbocks when the temperature starts to drop. A nice strong beer, also Wee Heavies and really rich Stouts will do it for me too.

You left out the two I'd choose, doppelbocks and old ales.

Honestly, i don't have a seasonal favorite. I drink whatever I'm craving at the moment. I drink stouts and quads and barleywines and sours all throughout the year with the occasional IPA thrown in there.

Imperial Stouts are my current favorites during the cold months, but I drink relatively few of them compared to IPAs. Also, I didn't notice Quads on your list. That's another favorite. Just so happens my favorites happen to be among the more expensive beers out there.

For me it's got to be Boulevard Nutcracker. Damn I love that brew.
