I definitely recommend Clown Shoes "Clementine" - it's made with orange peel so you should get more of that citrus note you're looking for. But I think Clown Shoes' distribution to New Jersey might be limited...? Not sure about that.

I contacted them to ask where they distribute in NJ. We'll see. Thanks for the suggestions jbertsch!

Crooked Stave's St. Bretta is might tasty, in my opinion. Lots of bottles made it to northeast recently for distribution...not sure if any made it down to NJ though.

Completely agree. This was the beer that began weaning my wife off Blue Moon. We were in a store on Sunday and she walked right past the Blue Moon end aisle displays into the "real beer" section and started spelunking - so proud of her  Right now, she is hooked in Dreamweaver from Troeg's - that one is very heavy into the banana/clove with only a mild hit of citrus, dry and a little on the tart side. I like it a lot - seems to have a ton of interesting things going on in the flavor department in my opinion. Another good one to explore more in my opinion with more interesting flavors happening than Clementine.

The seekabrew web site is a good web site to figure out what is available in your area as well as the mid-Atlantic.

Welcome aboard, hope you hang around a while. Others have pointed out where to post what, but you'll figure it out.

Allagash White. Newburyport Plum Island Belgian White. Cisco Grey Lady. Clown Shoes Clementine. Mayflower Summer Rye if you can still find it anywhere.

If you're in Bergen County there's plenty of Clown Shoes at Total Wine in River Edge.

    Response from Clownshoes:

"Unfortunately we are not able to distribute in NJ right now outside of a few Total Wine stores. We are working on finding a distributor in state and hope to be fully distributed in full by mid-2014.

    Cheers!"

This site is very helpful when getting into beer. Here is the portion of the website for beer style decriptions, especially Witbier. You will also want to check out this portion of the website to see what the lastest and greatest is in your section of the country, specifically New Jersey. Enjoy and welcome to the site.

Well hopefully you're near one of those Total Wines.
Just had another suggestion pop into my head... you probably get beers from Unibroue in Jersey and they have a Wit that's usually easy to find. It's called "Blanche de Chambly". I thought I remembered that one to have citrus notes as well - just checked reviews for it and it looks like my memory serves me right.

It has been a busy few weeks. I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel. I haven't ventured back into the Witbiers but have visited a few local breweries in my area to branch out my tastes. The closest I came to a witbier, I think, was a "Single Fin" I tried at Kane's Brewery in Ocean, NJ. It was considered a "Belgian Style Blonde Ale" I liked it a lot. Not sure if it is remotely similar to a witbier, but I am finding that if it says "Belgian" anywhere related to the beer, most of the time I like it. Most of Kane's beers were IPA or very hoppy and I can't say I love hoppy beers. I am enjoying branching out, but the IPAs aren't my favorite.

I tried Shiner Bock last weekend and am interested in bock beers in general. So I've been reading in the BA forums, Shiner might not be the best example of a true bock beer so next on my list is Paulaner Ale, Salvator Double Bock.

Then I am going to try Weihenstephaner Hefe, Paulaner Hefe. Wegman's carries both. I've really been impressed with their selection.

Still feel like I am just getting my feet wet so not sure I have much to contribute to the site yet. Plus, since this isn't the New Jersey area of the site, I thought I'd let the post go cold and make my next post in the Mid-Atlantic area.

(Hopefully your question was genuine interest and not just trying to prove a point about me not being back as often as you feel I should be. I hope I'm right.)

Unfortunately, probably not. He's been skeptical of you from the beginning. Happy to hear your beer exploration is continuing and going well. Cheers!
