WLV Zwanze Day 15 thread

Any updates on the remaining drafts or will that only be released the day of the event?

 

I haven't heard anything but not expecting too much based on the current list. I'm going for the Cantillon offerings and the bottle share. Bringing a few nice sours to pass around. I'll be the guy in the Casa Agria shirt

 

In the past years they update the list the morning of, and just have a few out a head of time.

There are a bunch of kegs not listed, there will be plenty of good things don't worry. The event goes from 10 to about 6 or so, last year I think it ended about 630. There needs to be enough beer to last.

 

I'm debating about bringing bottle to share. It's a beer fest for 8 hours with unlimited samples. And I love me some Cantillon....

 

While the samples ate unlimited, the loon tappings tend to be gone very quickly. Just don't expect to be sitting back sipping nothing but Cantillon for 8 hours, unless you plan to bring a lot of your own bottles.

 

A lot of folks bring bottles to share. Its always fun to bring a bottle or two to share with others who share with you.

 

I don't expect to be sipping on Cantillon the entire time(though that would be nice). I'm looking at this as a marathon, not a sprint. And after the fun that was Bell's last weekend, my liver might need a bit of a break. It looks like I'll bring a bottle or two to share, because...hey, why not. It is a sorta beer fest...and bottle shares are always a highlight

 

I don't know about you all but I'm excited...

 

In the past have people brought camelbaks or was there plenty of easy to get to water available?

 

Last year there were a few barrel/bucket things filled with water bottles. I believe they also had some other beverages as it is. Zwanze is pretty relaxed, you shouldnt have any issues finding food or water.
