Looking for somewhere to eat in the Worcester / Auburn / Sturbridge area that may have a decent draft list and accommodate a toddler on a Thursday night. We had planned a late lunch / early dinner at Armsby Abbey but I see that they have a no children policy so that`s out.

We will be coming back through the area on Saturday for more beers at Tree House with dinner at BT`s, so I`d rather avoid that if at all possible. We are staying in Auburn, MA if that makes any difference.

The Fix (in Worcester) is a good burger joint that normally has a decent tap list. Doesn't match Dive Bar or Abbey, but solid enough.

If your dinner is early, then I think you should be able to bring you toddler to the Abby. Its such a fantastic place, I would reach out to them via e-mail or facebook before you write them off entirely based on a vague statement on their web page.

Other places in Worcester for dinner I would recommend are Via (Italian) and Sole Proprietor (fish), Volturno (upscale pizza) as well as the above mentioned The Fix.

I have reached out to Armsby in the past - and they are perfectly fine with toddlers for brunch/lunch/early dinner. The "no children" on the web site was an older policy that has not been updated. But feel free to email or call them directly.

The Boynton is pretty good with a solid taplist and can accommodate a toddler.

I was at Armsby on Sunday for brunch and there is a sign that everyone must be 21+ after 6pm

One more for the Fix. Great burgers, and an excellent tap list for what's mainly a restaurant. Compared to Armsby which is more a bar with a food program.
Boynton was very good food and a good tap list in a dumpy place last time I was there, which admittedly was something like 15 years ago. I understand they've redone the place since then.

I went for the first time a few months back (Boynton) and it was still pretty dumpy

Pampas Brazillian BBQ (a block from Wormtown) is awesome. All you can eat for like $29 and it's BYOB. Better than spending two-three times that at Fogo De Chao.

Also I asked someone who works there and they said kids are ok anytime at Armsby.

Armsby in the past has been directly hostile to customers who bring in children.

FYI. Armsby allows kids of any age at any time
