I am heading up to N Woodstock this Friday afternoon. The plan is to venture into VT up rte 89 or rte 91. Then head east to NH. Any suggestions for bottle shops. Not expecting Heady or other VT exclusive stuff but just solid local stuff. Any recommendations will be appreciated.
Woodstock Hops and Barley. Pretty good local and non-local craft selection with some growler options. Stop at Jake's (Market) on way, they will have some decent options and a few growler options. They had MBC "A tiny beautiful something" last week. Worthy Kitchen is next door to Woodstock Hops and Barley. They will have some HF, Lawson's etc. on tap. Great food. If you head far enough in you can hit the Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier. Beverage Baron in Barre has a decent selection. Or Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury. The Coop in Hanover or Lebanon, NH is pretty easy access from I91, they will have some decent local options as well.
Thanks for recommendations. So I have go west for anything of VT interest? Head up rte 89 towards Montpelier? Nothing on rte 91. I am leaving Worcester around 1pm on Friday.
