Hey guys I am going to be in the Denver/Boulder area (buddy lives in between somewhere) for the first weekend of world cup games. Anybody have any suggestions for some good craft bars that will be a good atmosphere to watch the games?

Not sure about craft selection but the british bulldog is an awesome environment to watch soccer games at.

EDIT: not going to blow you away but a decent amount of Great Divide Taps and some UK imports.

Not really my thing, but the Three Lions will also have it. Prost and Pint's Pub are also likely spots.

Bulldog, Three Lions, Pint's and I am SURE that Hogshead will have the games on making it THE spot to go. Also will likely find the games on the big screen at Falling Rock and Backcountry (Boulder).

Three lions is a lot bigger than the bulldog (same owners, both places are fun), and they have the full lineup of fullers on draft including seasonal's that I've never seen anywhere else. Good place to grab a few.

Avery doesn't have TV's. In Boulder I'd either go to Conner O'Neill's or, like me, go to the Boulder Theater where they'll play it for free on the huge screen.

If it's nice out I watched it on West End Tavern's roof deck last WC. Great draft list and nice space

Love the World Cup! But will watch it at home or somewhere I can sit down and have a drink. Stopped by a spot yesterday after the Great Divide party in Denver and it was packed!! With drunks, it took 10 minutes to get an average foreign stout.

This is a little late but Freshcraft has all the games on, and game sound if requested

well, except when you want to watch a game while having a Superpower IPA. Then they're kind of essential.

That's when you buy your "Superpower IPA and take it home or go to a SportsBar.

The owners of our brewery were split on wanting to get a TV. I for one supported it! We ended up getting ONE, that's all we'll ever have and the volume is only on about 1% of the time. I think it gives those who might want to catch a game the opportunity and those that don't the opportunity to ignore it easily enough. I for one am I craft beer junkie as well as a sports nut, two big problems I have that consume much of my life!! Broomfield is opening a craft beer bar that will focus on great local beer on tap as well as SPORTS!!

No it's when I go over to dauss's brewery and have one of his excellent iPAs poured fresh, while watching the game on one of his 2 (maybe just one, now that I think about it) unobtrusive TVs.
