Hah guilty as charged. I didn't like Narwhal so I stuck it in the cellar because I wasn't going to drink it. Pulled it out a year later and it went from a mid 70 rating in my book to a mid 90 rating. Kinda like Bigfoot, so so when fresh but put it in the cellar and it turns into something completely different. I have a whole box full of beers I didn't like to pull out on occasion and see if age looks good on them.

Believe it or not, I didn't care for the bottle of Founders KBS (gave it a 4.0) when I bought a 4 pack last April. Pulled out a bottle last night and it was fantastic (4.75)!!

Yup i have the past 3 years and will open four when this year comes out to taste the difference. Good stuff indeed! KBS is definatley one for the cellar. Though i have to say i do not think that Bourbon County Stout needs to be cellared that is black gold out of the bottle!

Agree! That stuff is amazing! Looking forward to an event next week at my nearby tavern featuring BOTH Bourbon County Stout and Barleywine:grinning:

A bar in my town has bottles of 2004 WWS..for 13$ a bottle.. Thinking about picking 1 up and see how 9 years has treated this beer

The best I have been able to do was an '09 that I happened to purchase in '11. I like the beer too much fresh to sit on them, and they are too expensive to buy more than 2 or 3 a year.

Just found a few 2010s for 7.99 a pop. Drinking pretty good right now. Warms the belly on a cold night.

I purchased 3 WWS a year ago, i'm going to give it atleast one more year before I crack the first one and then i'll crack one per year after that.
    Post your results!

Damn, if you can grab an extra bottle let me know. I'd love to get in on that.
