These last two batches are the only ones I've had less than a week after being canned and my god they are deliciously hoppy and hazy.

Do they put canning dates on the cans yet? I had it, and while good, I wouldn't have said it was anywhere near Heady...did I have old cans?

How could this possibly get national love? I can't even get it in Boston, 40 miles from where it's brewed!

When did you last drink one? It seems their popularity has grown so quickly that they are never on the shelves for long at all, but a while back they did, and without canning dates, it could have been less than very fresh.

Yeah it was in the December timeframe, and don't get me wrong, it was quite good. I just need to find some fresh cans now!

Last time I had Be Hoppy, I was super impressed (about a month ago). I have been drinking heady for the last couple of weeks (made a heady run). Worm town isn't heady, but it is damn close in my opinion. If I could buy a case of Be Hoppy I wouldnt go up to VT for heady. 3 hours of driving for Be Hoppy is more appealing then 7 hours of driving for Heady.

I went to CBC in Newton and they had a 2 beer limit. This has officially gotten out of control.

I'm with you. I've bought and enjoyed it before and if it's on the shelf when I walk in the store I'll give it due consideration, but I'm not chasing it or begging the employees to break out their secret backroom stash of this or any other beer. I'll drink something else, and I'll live.

Fortunately I have no problem finding it at all. I think it gets more distro out here along 495. But agreed, I won't chase it, not when fresh Limbo or Larry is on the shelves.

Not while the 32 oz bottles of sucks sit on the shelves. I told this to the guy at CBC today. Like everything else it's all about perception.

I've seen 32oz sucks bottles in almost every store I've been to south of Boston. It's definitely around.

Can you still get growler fills of Be Hoppy at Peppercorns? And/or Is it normally on tap there?

I'm in the Watertown/Waltham area and actually got some on Saturday. But this was the first time I was able to find some in months.

This is hilarious….hearing talk of limits on BH, having to specifically ask for it because it’s behind the counter, and places selling out of it in days…not long ago, this beer used to sit around in bombers for months. Now in cans, it’s one of the hottest things in Mass. I know the canning is a significant reason for that, but is the format change alone the cause for the huge uptick in demand, or was the word about this beer just slow to get out in the first place? Combination of both?

More convenient format, better turnover so freshness is not an issue, and most of all, a 50% price cut!
