was at the harvard club at 1 federal st, and they had bombers for $9, pretty good when you're seeing them for 7is on the shelves

Had two pints after night if the barrels next door at Picco. Was not listed but something kicked and they just tapped it. Awesome beer!

FYI for anyone near the Walpole area - the British Beer Company in Walpole has a Wormtown tap takeover this Thursday. I gotta imagine Be Hoppy would be on tap, but hopefully some other goodies (birthdaybeer #3, please) that you may not normally see unless you trek out to Peppercorns in Worcester, would also be on tap. Not to mention, since BBC is known to have a cask offering, I wonder what Wormtown brew might just appear in it... I'm definitely going to check it out.

prezzo in milford is owned by the owner of Wormtown. (used to be called peppercorns)
worm ipa is delicious! they're always pouring other top craft brews also. great food too

hit or miss on finding bombers fresh (and cold), unless I go to Julios...date/month is on the back of bottle

Redstone Liquors gets it every so often, in Stoneham. Always fresh but it goes fast.

I bought a couple this weekend at Redstone that were bottled in May. Not quite as good as when you get them the same day/week obviously but still a damn fine IPA. Glad it's local.

Does Wormtown do growler fills at the brewery? If so what are the days/hours?The website has no information about tastings, tours, or business hours, so I'm assuming there is no place for customers to actually visit (?) Anybody out in the Worcester area have any information?

Like them on Facebook to get the latest info about what is on tap for growler fills. They do not fill Be Hoppy. The brewery is located in Peppercorns restaurant, not much to see or visit unless you want fills or to buy bottles, hours are everyday 12:00pm to 10:00pm for fills and bottle sales.

Thanks. That's all I needed. Just going to buy beer is enough for me. Not too interested in brewery tours that much anymore. How many steel tanks does one need to see in a lifetime?

Too bad they don't do fills of Be Hoppy...

In my travels Worcester for work. Living in SE Mass. I never have an issue finding fresh Be Hoppy I guess that's why they do not worry about growler fills. Plus I think Wormtown request it be in the fridge. Never seen it on a shelf. I am guessing this is very good for beer

If I could fill a growler of Be Hoppy for a reasonable price at the brewery I would never buy a $6.99 - $7.99 bomber. I always assumed they're protecting their retail stores not filling growlers.

I thought I heard or read something about some breweries requesting bottles to be stocked in fridge

Possibly but they must not be bothering to check up on it. Or the distributor doesnt tell the store to do so.
