I'm visiting Boston area this weekend and looking to get some Be Hoppy and other beers from them. Are their beers readily available in the Boston area or should I make the drive to the brewery? Also, does the brewery sell cans on premise?

Their bottles and Be Hoppy cans are few and far between lately. Best bet is to head to their new brewery. I'm not sure if they do cans on premise, but they do growler fills.

I'd go to the brewery if I were you, as stated above cans are hard to come by. I know the brewery just opened up last week but it hasn't seem to have made that large of an impact on distribution yet.

Is the brewery selling cans yet? I thought no, but haven't been out there myself.

As best I can tell, Be Hoppy cans are more plentiful around I-495 and Worcester than in closer to Boston. If you are driving in via 84 or 95, I'd stop around the 495 corridor and hit a few shops. Or call them first.

Thanks guys...I'm actually flying into Boston and will have Friday morning/afternoon to explore. Will plan on making the drive out there

Wormtown makes great beers! But it's debatable whether if its worth the 1hr plus drive from Boston, with Trillium and Night Shift right ther in the city. Wormtown is one of my favorite breweries and Be Hoppy is a superb beer. But Trillium and NS will provided more than an adequate substitutes. Trillium released a few new beers this week for Anniversary. So did NS, I think they are bottling a DIPA for the first time this week. If you have time and want Be Hoppy or any Wormtown the brewery is definately the answer. Just be aware its growler only for now. Unless they make an announcement this week.

No Wormtown at Armsby, just some brewery called Hill Farmstead.

Agreed. I personally would hit up Trillium and a few local beer bars to make best use of my time. If he really wants Wormtown then he can drive the hour or so out there.

Already plan on hitting up Night Shift and Trillium along with a couple of bars. I've had Be Hoppy once, enjoyed it and was curious about trying to get more and how available it was in the Boston area.

    Thanks everyone!

What part of town are you staying in? If you really want Be Hoppy, I'm pretty sure it's on tap at a bar called Yard House by Fenway.

Hey all. My name is Drew. I'm the taproom manager at Wormtown. I see a whole bunch of questions about Be Hoppy cans. Because of our move to a larger facility, we did hit a bit of a speed bump in the Hoppy cans. We are HOPING to can again in mid April. When we do, we will have some cans available in the brewery. For now, we are filling 32 oz growlers of it. We have 9 draft lines all together and we are serving all sizes. It's not just a tasting room. Come down to the taproom and check it out. Awesome new place. If you're not familiar with our location, it's right of the highway (290) and the street we are located on has some great restaurants up and down that also serve our beer. Come check us out!

Be Hoppy is available widely on draft in the metro Boston area. Draft version tastes much better IMO too. I'd suggest just trying it on draft somewhere & not spend your trip chasing a phantom.

I've had better luck finding Be Hoppy at random stores in Worcestor than the larger "better" ones such as Julios...though I did manage to grab the last Hopulence at Austin Liquors in Worcestor so that kinda shoots down my theory.

Be Hoppy is excellent, it will be great to see it around more often!

Stopped in for a 4-pack (limit 1 per human) for $13. Can date on the bottom is 3/2/15?!?! I'm assuming they were unused cans from the last batch, I hope...

Anyway, nice to be able to drop-in for a 4-pack if they're not a month+ old. Facebook post shows cans being filled so I'm hoping it's just left over cans.
