I believe the article states that Hopulence will be 4 pack bottles. Sorry for the confusion...

"In addition to those packaging developments, Fields says Wormtown will be bottling their bigger, higher octane beers, such as Hopulence double IPA in four-packs. Dubbed their “Underground” line—another nod to the late ’70s Worcester underground punk scene after which they’re named—the exclusive series will also include the brewery’s Pro-Am Porter and Sweet Tats Stout."

Hopulence and Be Hoppy are honestly two of my favorite beers right now (out of any style, let alone IPAs/DIPA's) so being able to get it somewhat regularly (cans/bottles/growlers) will be awesome. Their new taproom is only about 20 minutes away from where I live and right off 290 which makes access very easy.

Hopefully more one off and brewery only stuff. I enjoyed dry hopped 7 Hills a lot this summer

Per Facebook taproom open for growlers today! Be Hoppy and Hopulence growlers sound perfect for a blizzard!

Went to the "soft" opening yesterday. Tap room is coming along great, thankful to have a parking lot right there too. In and out in about 10 minutes or so. Bottle Rocket is so drinkable, great pale ale. Also grabbed fresh Be Hoppy and Hopulence growlers which will be consumed during this blizzard. Cant wait to have this brewery cranking out beer all summer.

Was there any info on bottle and can sales in taproom?

Wormtown tweeted today that they're canning Be Hoppy. I'm not sure how long it takes for the cans to hit distro, but I'll be keeping a lookout!

At the old location it would hit some stores the next day and definatley with in a few days in Worcester and surrounding towns. Not sure how they will handle things at new location. My big question is if they are set up to do can sales this week out of the new location.

I asked about Be Hoppy two weeks ago, and IIRC, they said they were going to hold some cans to sell at the opening. Otherwise, they would be hitting distro. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that is what they told me.

Has anyone tried the new Bottle Rocket pale ale? As excited as I am for Be Hoppy to make a return, I am psyched and curious about this one...

Has anyone had good luck finding "Be Hoppy" cans on a consistent/regular basis (i.e. With each release) in the towns and around the highways between Boston and Worcester? 128-ish, along the Pike, 495-ish, Metro-West, etc etc?

I have never need a can of Be-Hoppy on the shelf (refrigerated or otherwise) at any of my local stores in the last year. Be Hoppy and Hopulence will occasionally get a facebook or twitter announcement from one of my go-to stores and then be sold out within a few hours or a day.

I mostly frequent stores in the Westboro, Marlboro, and Leominster areas. Maybe I need to be going into Worcester more often.

If I recall correctly purchase limits got ridiculous on the last 1 or 2 batches. Main reason I did not chase it. So weird before Be Hoppy got into cans it would fossilize on the shelves in most stores.

I'm not big on making multiple purchases of an IPA at bomber prices. I'd imagine I'm not the only one. The dusty bombers were plentiful. There are still some hanging around in a few stores. :astonished:

I was at a store not that long ago that had bombers of a Black IPA that I didn't even know they made. Gotta be at least two years old at this point. Was in the N. Attleboro / Wrentham area. Plenty of vintage Hopulence, etc.

Needless to say, you can't even find MassWhole Hefeweizen around the Worcester area. This new brewery can't open soon enough. Their beers are right-on, but it's pretty bad when I've had 20-25 Heady Toppers since I've had a 16oz can of Be Hoppy.
