Kentucky Bourbon Ale is beyond vile. Normally I power through a bad four- or six-pack but 2 sips and I was clutching my mouth running for the bathroom. Imagine Banker's Club whiskey poured into a Milwaukee's Best Ice.

If not for that I'd have to say Brewdog Paradox Smokehead. Evidently I don't like Scotch but this stuff tasted like Marlboro Reds soaked in fart-flavored rubbing alcohol. I think it's one of maybe three beers I have ever dumped out of a two-ounce tasting glass at a beer fest.

A tie between Widmer Brrrrboun and Heavy Seas Greater Pumpkin. Is there even a base beer they start with?

Regular Dark Lord? It's not barrel aged. Or are you referring to a specific variant?

I'm not a fan of Dragons Milk. It tastes like Dragons Milk.

Oude Tart. At least you pretty much know that Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale isn't trying to be all that great, judging by the price. Whereas Oude Tart fails so spectacularly at being a quality Flemish sour that it is far, far worse, all things considered.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel isn't great, but it's not trying to be either. It's the Budweiser of bourbon barrel beers.

The real fails are when beers try.

This might be the worst I can recall that I don't believe was infected (Newport Storm Rum Barrel Porter):

It wasn't disastrous, but it missed.

A couple of the Mikkeller Black Holes were pretty bad too.
